| the past two months have been crazy, but i have a lot to be thankful for. first of all, all-state results: im ranked #21
(symphony, 2nd violin, 1st chair). i missed 1st violin by one
chair! im still happy since i finally made symphony this year and
i made like 3 mistakes on the tape. nepo got #2, which means he
had the second best tape in all of texas. unfortunately, my recording for houston symphony concerto competition was quite pitiful.
what a waste of money; the studio was so expensive. i doubt that
i will make finals, but it would be awesome if i did. playing an
entire concerto would be an amazing experience.
school has been okay. junior year is hard, but im getting through
it. i just hate how we're all so busy with clubs and other crap
that we can't even sit together at lunch.
christmas is coming!!
which means christmas music, lovely weather, pretty lights, the general
aura of christmastime, and skiing (if i go this year). im excited.

| ah the amazing weather makes me oh so happy. i got excited yesterday because it ALMOST felt like christmas... or im just dumb, but at least melissa agreed with me! i love the winter. and i cant wait until christmas.
music is the passion of my life. and i recently realized that strangely, violin is also included in that passion. so yeah, screw dance. its not as important to me. oh and usher aint too bad either =)

[edit] yay im 16! thanks to everybody for the insanely louudddd "happy birthdays", presents, and such. and also to annie and josh who called =) are you guys free this saturday? cuz im going to do something, prolly bowling and dinner. ooh yeah and i got awesome bday cards from jessss (kidneys are hot!) and christine (dalai lamas are gonna rule the world!).. hehe  yeah okay im tired. and i dont like school. good night. | | |
| seattle was pretty. so was victoria. experience music
project was awesome. olympic nat park was gorgeous.. snow-capped
mountains and huge ancient trees that made me feel so young.
vancouver had good food. like reallly good food. all in
all, a good vacation =)
